Understanding Guide Versions
Please, excuse our mess. As we rebrand from Vamp to Qualta AI, you may see references to Vamp in text and images throughout our Knowledge Base. We are working to update articles and remove these occurrences as quickly as possible.
A Guide is versioned every time you update its details or structure.
The current version number can be found on the Guide's detail page within the first context badge directly under its name .
Interview listings also contain a version badge that displays the version that guided the interview.
Version Format
Guide version numbers follow this format:
MAJOR_VERSION.MINOR_VERSION
Minor Versions
A new minor version is created every time the following Guide details are updated:
- Tone
- Informed Consent
- Demographics
For instance, if a Guide is at version 1.2 and its Tone is updated from "Academic" to "Casual", its new version number would be 1.3 .
Major Versions
A new major version is created every time the Guide's structure is updated, such as:
- Prompt
- Static Questions
For instance, if a Guide is at version 1.2 and a new Static Question is added to its structure, its new version number would be 2.0 .
Changes to a Guide's name or limits (e.g., Interview Limit or End Date) do not create a new version.
