How to Search Guide Interviews
Finding specific information within your Guide interviews is essential for analysis and gaining insights. This article will guide you through using the search functionality to locate interview transcripts based on questions and responses. You'll learn how search terms are highlighted for easy identification, how to hide or show interviews in your results, and important considerations regarding search queries and user permissions for hiding interviews.
Select Guide
- First, navigate to the Guides page in the navigation menu.
- Here, use the SEARCH bar to locate the specific Guide whose interview transcripts you wish to explore by name.

- Alternatively, use the sorting options to sort the Guide listing by Guide Name, Date Created, or Date Published.
- Additionally, toggling the Show Archive button will display archived Guide entries.

Next, from the Guide listing, select the specific Guide whose interview transcripts you wish to explore by selecting the adjacent VIEW GUIDE button. This action will direct you to the Guide's detail page.

Using the Search Function
In the Guide's detail page, navigate to the Interviews tab.

Here, use the SEARCH bar to search both interview questions and responses. (For example - "Bluetooth".)
Common pronouns (e.g., "I", "you", "he", "she", etc.) and connective words (e.g., "and", "but", "then", etc.) will be ignored in search queries.

This will display the search results, with matching interviews automatically expanded and the search term highlighted in green.

To clear the search, click the X button in the Search bar.

Managing Search Results
To hide or show interviews, navigate to the Interviews tab on the Guide's detail page.

Only Team members with the ability to update Guides can hide interviews from search results. Members with a Viewer role will not be able to hide interviews.
If you do not want a particular interview included in your search, click the More options icon next to it and select Hide.

The eye-slash icon will then appear next to the hidden interview.

To show hidden interviews again and include them in your search, click the More options icon next to it and select Show.
